Ask me what ministry have I been in and I will say is Reception and Bookstore Ministry. Ask me what ministry I am currently in and I can tell you that I am currently in Reception Ministry. How long? Around 1 year plus.. My first duty was one of the last days in FTMS. I got to touch the magic button which opens the glass doors to enter church for once before we move to SingPost.

If you are wondering what is my reason for joining Reception, you do not have to ask me anymore! I shall tell you now! There are actually a few aspects that cause me to join Reception Ministry. First, I knew that every time a person comes to church on a normal day, the first person he or she will see is the Receptionist. Having to know that, there is a need to give people a good impression of church.

Maybe its me to want to be a Receptionist. I love to serve people and serving people is my passion. Knowing that, through me being a Receptionist, helping people get things, providing things for them, it gave me the satisfaction that I have helped someone and changed his life. That is the driving force that kept me serving in Reception.

Now Reception came to a whole new level for me. Being an IC made me even more busy and it just struck me that I am not only living life and just doing Reception Duty. I need to be looking at the Ministry as a whole. How to bring the ministry to a whole new level? How to keep the ministry running.. How to brighten up the ministry so that there are new things which the Receptionist can do.

Won't it be great if there are new improvement to the Ministry? Games Cafe to be fully integrated to Reception Ministry? One day you will find Receptionist teaching people how to play games.. People having fun playing games. Oh so my dream la.. Its gonna come to past one day! Amen!
